Recently, 55 Syahadah kits were prepared and distributed to reverts in Metro Manila area in the Philippines. 35 kits were for sisters and 20 for brothers. This brings the total number of kits distributed to 465.  The syahadah kits are a welcome gift to new Muslims embarking on their journey to new faith, with many of them often isolated from their friends and families. A syahadah kit is not just garment for praying but a warm message that is meant to put the heart at ease, reminding the new Muslims that they have a caring community they can lean on. UPDATE AS OF 25 FEBRUARY 2026 (REPORT WITH PHOTOS) TOTAL 410 KITS DISTRIBUTED

  An additional 65 syahadah kits- 45 for sisters and 20 for brothers- were prepared and sent to Barangay Lamlahak, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and distributed to our Balik Islam brothers and sisters in this area. The mualaf community in Lake Sebu are mostly from the indigenous people's tribe of Tiboli.  2020 census published the population of Lake Sebu at over 81,220 and from this number, 3% are Muslims (2,440) Since the items for the syahadah kits were not available in Lake Sebu or adjacent areas, the items in the kits were shipped from Manila.  The syahadah kits were warmly welcomed by the Balik Islam of Lake Sebu. Most of the distribution was done in Masjid Usman bin Affan in Lamlahak, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, Philippines  The total number of kits distributed as of 25 February 2026 is 410 Here are some of the pictures of the 5th distribution.  Children received mini sejadah as gifts Ustaz Ibrahim Dalican collecting the items for Syahadah kits from the courier...

UPDATE (WITH PHOTOS) AS OF 24 JANUARY 2026

An additional 70 syahadah kits- 50 for sisters and 20 for brothers- were prepared and distributed to our new Balik Islam brothers and sisters in Metro Manila, Philippines. The kits were distributed as follows: 1.) 20 kits for sisters who attended the event-Istiqbal Ramadan in Manila  2) 10 kits for Mabini Islamic Center  3.) 10 kits for Rizal Masjid Nur 4) 5 kits through Sister Aisha, Maharlika, Taguig City 5.) 15 kits through Brother Sabr (10 for brother 5 for sisters) Masjid Rahmah  and Islamic Center in Cavite 6) 10 kits through Sister Jamilah So,  Masjid Al Burhan Quezon City The total number of kits distributed as of 25 January 2026 is 345 Here are some of the pictures of the 4th distribution.
