SYAHADAH KITS FOR BALIK ISLAM IN THE PHILIPPINES

  An additional 65 syahadah kits- 45 for sisters and 20 for brothers- were prepared and sent to Barangay Lamlahak, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and distributed to our Balik Islam brothers and sisters in this area. The mualaf community in Lake Sebu are mostly from the indigenous people's tribe of Tiboli.  2020 census published the population of Lake Sebu at over 81,220 and from this number, 3% are Muslims (2,440) Since the items for the syahadah kits were not available in Lake Sebu or adjacent areas, the items in the kits were shipped from Manila.  The syahadah kits were warmly welcomed by the Balik Islam of Lake Sebu. An additional 70 syahadah kits- 50 for sisters and 20 for brothers- were prepared and distributed to our new Balik Islam brothers and sisters in Metro Manila, Philippines. The kits were distributed as follows: 1.) 20 kits for sisters who attended the event-Istiqbal Ramadan in Manila  2) 10 kits for Mabini Islamic Center  3.) 10 kits for Rizal Masjid Nur 4) 5 kits through Sister Aisha, Maharlika, Taguig City 5.) 15 kits through Brother Sabr (10 for brother 5 for sisters) Masjid Rahmah  and Islamic Center in Cavite 6) 10 kits through Sister Jamilah So,  Masjid Al Burhan Quezon City The total number of kits distributed as of 25 January 2026 is 345 Here are some of the pictures of the 4th distribution.
